Job Description

Key Responsibilities:


  • Develop and maintain good relationships with key contacts within the portfolio of existing key clients to ensure client retention and generation of additional revenues
  • Achieve agreed sales targets for both recurring software rentals and one off services
  • Run sales campaigns for add-on modules using email and telephone follow up
  • Provide web based demonstrations of software
  • Process enquiries and orders for licence increases/up-grades
  • Liaise with colleagues in support to manage any client support issues
  • Maintain CRM records of activities and ensure system up to date with profile and contact information
  • Contribute to Linked In and Blog articles
  • Encourage referrals and introductions from clients
  • Gain full understanding of software and ensure fully up to date ion new releases and functionality
  • Keep abreast of developments within Payroll Market place
  • Liaise will filed based sales colleagues and pass across opportunities that require face to face meetings with clients (Larger Opportunities).


Experience and Skills

  • Internal b2B sales experience
  • Good educational qualification to degree level
  • IT literate (Excel, Word, Outlook)



  • Confident with ability to express themselves clearly
  • Calm, unruffled manner
  • Good command of spoken and written English
  • Initiative
  • Positive attitude
  • Able to work on own or part of team
  • Good organisational skills
