Role purpose


We have an exciting opportunity for a Junior Web Developer to work within a fast paced IS department based in Buckinshire, Just 20 minutes from West London.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining ecommerce sites for our brands bringing in new features and fixing problems as they arise. The individual will can work as part of a team and individually, they will also be enthusiastic with a 'can do' attitude, whilst always pushing the team forwards in terms of new technologies and better ways of working.


Key responsibilities


* Confident in building PHP applications and correcting them
* Developing skill set/training
* Timely responds to website and internal application problems, resolved effectively
* Execution of projects on time and to a "works first time" attitude
* Attention to detail and high standards of work
* Able to meet requirements from stake holders or propose time/costs involved in meeting those requirements


Skills / Experience


* Good knowledge of mySOL
* Knowledge in HTML, CSS and exposure to JavaScript
* Knowledge of Agile working methods
* Experience of GitHub
* Magento and/or other ecommerce experience including developing payment gateways
* BSc (Hons) in Computer Science or equivalent
* Magento certification (Beneficial)
* Maths and English at GCSE level C or above, or equivalent
* 2 years + in a programming role
